As a Communications volunteer & Systems Support volunteer I do not work from an English Heritage site so it was nice to get out and visit a lovely location.

Father's Day Trip
To celebrate Father's day this year I took my Dad to visit Kenilworth Castle in Warkwickshire. After stopping for a coffee break mid journey we arrived at our destination around 10.30am. Upon arrival I presented my English Heritage Volunteer Pass so that we could get into the site for free.
In the morning we enjoyed looking round the site including the castle and gardens before breaking for lunch. I then attended a job interview for a role at the site in the afternoon. Finally, we purchased ice creams from the kiosk before departing at approximately 3pm.
